The objective of the Bankers’ Taxation Circle (the Circle), founded in 1955, is to facilitate the exchange of information and discussion on all taxation and related matters and its motto is ‘Friendship through knowledge’.
Entry to the Circle is open to those who work in banks or financial institutions who are involved in taxation at all levels as well as, at the sole discretion of the Committee, those who work in the banking taxation field in some other capacity.
We are always happy to welcome new members who would like to join the Circle.
To apply for membership please complete the membership application form online (click here to download 
) and email to the Secretary or contact one of the Committee Members. Approval as a member of the Circle is at the discretion of the Committee and will be notified personally to each applicant.
The annual subscription for membership is just £20. We believe this continues to offer excellent value for money as it gains you access during the annual membership year to at least seven Technical Seminars, three Formal Meetings and our Annual Conference (usually held in June). The membership year runs from September to the following August. New members can join anytime during the year for the annual subscription of £20.

The Circle’s Committee Members will be happy to answer any further questions you may have and to issue receipts or invoices, by email, if specifically required.
Invitations to forthcoming events will be emailed to existing members and details will also be provided on our website for members.
To register for any event you will need to follow the instructions as per the Invitation.
Event prices for 2015/16 have been maintained the same as for 2014/15. Thus individual Technical Seminars cost £20 each or the annual 'season ticket' cost for all Technical Seminars is £85. The Circle also offers an annual "financial institution season ticket" at £170 which covers members and colleagues from the same financial institution for all Technical Seminars. The Formal Meetings and Annual Conference are not covered by the season ticket and will cost £60 each.
